Field Application Engineer LCD (f/m)
Location: Hessen
Purpose of the job:
All the technical activities involved in the product Design-in, promotion & marketing of LCD product for a future business opportunity. Providing LCD know-how to sales & marketing force to assist in the development of sales & marketing plans for target applications segments.
Your responsibilities:
Design-in and technical support for LCD products
Maintain road-map of our client’s LCD technologies and products
Provide data-sheets, specifications, application notes to Sales/Customer
React to technical questions from Sales/Customer
Provide working demo-sets to Sales/Customer, show our client’s benefits
Pro-actively seek Customer’s technical approval of samples (by signature)
Pro-actively support start of Customer’s mass-production (smooth ramp-up)
Support after-sales QA activity upon request (if complex problem occurs)
Follow-up environmental regulations (to influence product development)
Your profile:
University degree or equivalent in electronics or a related subject ideally with a major in microelectronics or alternatively relevant experience in lieu
Strong customer orientation
Very good communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels
Persuasive and professional presentation skills
Very good knowledge of LCD products and related applications
Self starter with ability to work under minimum supervision
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality
Very good written and spoken English
Experience in enterprise software systems (e.g. MS-Office and SAP)
