Senior Embedded SW engineer
Job Description
As a member of the engineering team, the engineer will be responsible for developing real-time embedded software for wireless transceivers performing control, calibration and filtering algorithms. Successful applicant will have experience developing embedded software for and complex mixed signal SoCs and is able to get the silicon through the characterization and integration phases. This work involves working closely with design engineers to create the detailed device drivers, working with the system engineers to develop the control and calibration software and with baseband and system engineers for the system integration.
Required Education and Experience
Extensive experience in embedded real-time C software development: (C/C++), low level drivers, C , C++, assembly code, embedded debugging
Good knowledge and understanding of complex mixed signal SoC. Understand the digital and analog hardware functionality of the components in the SoC.
Knowledge of wireless transceivers is a plus, especially the behavior of the analog building blocks and low level SW layers.
Good communication skills
Detail oriented and determined
Knowledge of configuration and process management tools and software quality standards.
Experience of full product development life cycle, from requirements to product validation in customer platforms
The ideal candidate should be of degree caliber or equivalent experience
