124200 Senior Consultant, West Europe

Job Description

This role will be responsible for carrying out post technical activities for clients in Western Europe. In addition to that, our client will deliver consulting / services engagements contracted by their customers and / or partners in West Europe (and other countries when needed). These shall take mostly the form of short on-site engagements (consultancy / professional services type of engagements) and also longer term engagements within the context of yearly field support engagements with strategic customers. Since they are Open Source, our consultants need to be technically skilled and able to communicate at multiple levels: technical architects, developers, IT system administrators and end-users. He/She will be able to perform, time-to-time, pre-sales activities. In addition to that they should have familiarity with the French market, especially for big accounts and having a well established network in West Europe is a plus.

 

Job Responsibilities

·Delivering chargeable services to clients and partners in a post-sales environment

·Providing technological guidance to new and potential Partner e.g. Proof of Concepts and workshops

·Supporting sales efforts with in depth product and business expertise

·Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services offerings and methodologies.

·Delivery of various pre-sales activities - including responding to customer requests for information, developing and planning conceptual solution presentations and demonstrations, technical/product guidance in meetings etc

·Represent the company in a professional manner – At all times represent the company in a favorable manner and build positive relationships with clients and partners to the company’s benefit

 

Technical Skills & Experience

·A proven track record in a consulting environment in a software solutions business.

·Excellent knowledge of ECM process and underlying technology.

·Excellent knowledge of Java, Spring and other tools.

·A good knowledge and practice of the ECM / WCM-CMS French market

·A good knowledge of the Open Source market in France is a plus

·Excellent communication skills (verbally and in writing)

·Proven experience of developing and delivering effective presentations

·An open, fair, positive ‘can do’ attitude.

·The ability to spot sensible, effective, least risky, least complex solutions.

·Must be technically skilled with a customer-centric mind & exceptional communication skills

·Must be self-motivated, must have an ability to work well in a geographically dispersed, team environment, must exhibit a positive and professional attitude, and pay attention to detail.

·Ability to work independently, learn quickly and be proactive

·Ability to perform and work well under pressure

·Good analytical & troubleshooting skills

·Passion for working in an international, leading-edge environment with associated challenging objectives & fast-evolving organisation and market

·Some experience in professional services or field support positions

·Experience in ECM / WCM products & PS/Support related concepts & issues will be highly valuable and represents a significant advantage.

·Must be fluent in French & English
